Sean M. Sharp

Sean is a licensed attorney and the founder of The Sharp Law Firm, LLC. He founded The Sharp Law Firm to provide his staunch advocacy and unparalleled legal services to every client, regardless of their circumstances. Sean represents employees, consumers, shareholders, small businesses, and other injured parties in business disputes and civil litigation. He provides dedicated and vigorous negotiation and advocacy for his clients that gets results.

While attending The University of Chicago Law School Sean worked as a research assistant on corporate and securities regulatory matters, developing a database of SEC civil enforcement actions. He also worked in the Civil Actions Bureau at the Cook County State's Attorney's Office. He represented the County in civil actions and administrative proceedings with his Supreme Court Rule 711 license. While in law school Sean also served as a federally-appointed Child Advocate at the Young Center for Immigrant Children's Right. He represented unaccompanied immigrant children detained in the United States without a parent or legal guardian, advocating for their best interests after getting caught up in the immigration system.

Sean also has a background in commercial leasing, zoning and land use issues, regulatory matters, telecommunications law, and business law. He worked as a professional services trainer for a telecommunications firm, training staff and attorneys on commercial lease review, drafting and negotiation. He also has experience advising small businesses on formation, charters, operating agreements, and employment policies and contracts.
